It’s Going is How It’s Going. Christmas Eve Morning →. December 24, 2010 · 12:14 am. Maybe the Grinch Can Steal Our Christmas; It’s Not Like Zinashi Needs the Toys. Christmas is in two days, and she’ll be getting lots of toys from relatives, but…yeah. When it’s something so small and she gets so excited. YES Which engine do you like better, the green or the red? Or we can just stay here and have Christmas. I’m not sure which you’d pick, but my socks resemble those of the Grinch, so I̵...It’s Go...

Ababi Mondays: Looking back. It’s Going is How It’s Going →. December 21, 2010 · 5:15 pm. This Tuesday with Old Lady Mary: And After That, I Put on Some Jersey Knits. The sweater was exclaimed over several times. In fact, the only part that didn’t go well was my daughter leaving her headband on. I figured I could threaten. I like the weird grimace at all, but I thought I’d at least try. For a smile, and when I requested one, she decided to point to her teeth. You’d rather not smile? I’ll crouch down.

This is the story of our family. We believe that every child deserves to grow up in a loving family, so we have chosen to build our family through adoption. We brought Magnolia Zinash home in Autumn 2010. She is a joy and a pleasure, worth every single ounce of hard work it took to get her here. We couldn’t be happier. Or maybe it will just be Zinashi and a sister. You’ll have to wait to find out. One response to “. October 19, 2010 at 12:42 am. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. We...

http://marymuses.blogspot.com/2011/09/life-after-my-whole30.html
Sunday, September 11, 2011. Life After My Whole30. The hardest part of this has been figuring out what to eat when I don't feel like cooking. I can't just grab a sandwich anymore. At some point I hope to figure out how to make sandwich bread that doesn't contain grains, but for now it's just not happening. Is it weird to mourn the loss of sandwiches more than the loss of my beloved iced mochas? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life After My Whole30. Create your own visitor map.

Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Whole30, the Aftermath. The thing about my craving for sweets is that it's not a standard sugar craving. I don't want straight up sugar. I can't just eat fruit and be fine with that. In fact, I hate the really sweet, fruity candies, like Skittles and Sweet Tarts. I can only eat one or two Starburst at a time. Jelly beans? I'm not sure. But it doesn't surprise me that I still love sweets. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Whole30, the Aftermath. I Have a Plan.

Wednesday, June 29, 2011. So I won't say anything if you won't say anything, and maybe by keeping quiet we can trick my body into actually getting that task done. Step one will be getting out of bed before everyone else. Tricky. Run on, friends. Links to this post. Monday, June 20, 2011. The Waiting Really is the Hardest Part. 11 January 2013 in Uncategorized. I’ve been reading paragraphs upon paragraphs of words I wrote in college. I’ve been meditating on lines of scripture, as well as lyrics, that I memorized and cherished and shared many years ago. I’ve been reflecting on last summer, longing for the ocean and the mountains and salty air. I’ve been surrounding myself with kind-hearted humans. I want to be something different than what I’ve spent the last several years becoming. This is the beginning. Enter your comment here.

http://marymuses.blogspot.com/2007/02/you-can-call-me-weirdy-mcstrangerton.html
Monday, February 12, 2007. You Can Call Me Weirdy McStrangerton. 1 As a child I found the smell of my own hair to be so comforting that I would hold it in front of my nose habitually. These days if I find myself doing that, I stop myself, but I still can't take it for long if I notice that my hair smells different than usual. I find it to be disconcerting, and I feel somewhat compelled to wash it as soon as possible. 6 I have a favorite kind of ice. Mine comes from having long hair for so much of my life!

The husband and I started our adoption journey. Man-oh-man has it been a crazy ride! We are adopting from Ethiopia through Children’s Hope International. We started off requesting young siblings. Our paperwork was complete. And on Valentine’s Day 2011 we were officially on The Wait List. A Change of Heart- Waiting Children. To ra...
Natural Living | Hand in Hand

As I have gotten older, I’ve gotten a bit weird. It started in January 2011 when we watched the documentary Food Inc. So that’s where it started, and it continued that way for awhile. Our family was making healthier decisions. I can’t tell you that we became superheroes overnight or that Covergirl called me for a contract, but we definitely felt good and had more energy. Then I really started to go off the deep end. So I started making my own all purpose cleaner. And then my own laundry detergent. Why I ...

Finding Maiken
