Finding My Artist Eye. After a long (2 decade hiatus away from drawing and painting, this is my way of documenting the road back with graphite, pastel, colored pencil and charcoal. Wednesday, June 5, 2013. I also purchased more pastels and a decent easel. I started and stopped two paintings. Then I tried a pastel painting of my mom from a photo.
