Finding My Recipes: We need a name....
http://findingmyrecipes.blogspot.com/2011/12/we-need-name.html
We're military and move a lot. Pretty sure at some point I am going to lose all my recipes. So, I'm trying to put my favorites on the web to lessen the impact that would have. If you are afraid of losing yours too, you are welcome to send me your favorites or try these and comment. Wednesday, December 14, 2011. We need a name. We've done several variations on this. The original recipe is HERE. 1 can large flaky biscuit dough. Cut up sandwich ham. Enjoy and Happy Eating! December 14, 2011 at 2:28 PM.
Finding My Stamp: December 2013
http://findingmystamp.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 27, 2013. Thank you's for a loved one's passing. There was a death in our extended family a little while ago. We weren't able to attend the funeral but I wanted to send something to our loved one's widow. I wanted it to be something more personal, and useful, then flowers. This is the card I sent to express our sympathy. These cards are laying flat so the top portion is actually the back. It has a small round stamp that says "handmade". When my visiting teaching. Card to introduce myself.
Finding My Stamp: October 2012
http://findingmystamp.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 14, 2012. Duct Tape Purse Blue. Start with your rectangle piece of material face down. Tape the corners to keep it in place. The material was bought from Stampin' Up! The duct tape was bought from JoAnn's. Lay two piece of ribbon down and tape over them to keep them in place. Then find the middle of your fabric and place your first piece of tape. This will become the bottom of your bag. Begin placing pieces of tape in the design of your choice. You will want them to overlap. So far so goo...

Finding My Stamp: September 2012
http://findingmystamp.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 14, 2012. I saw this tutorial. On Pinterest and had to try my hand at it. I love the simplicity of it. I've had a hard time finding the charms that are open. All those shown below were bought at JoAnn's. I decided to make a bunch for July 4th to share with friends. Thus, all the threads are July 4th themed. Fun little bracelets that take seconds to make. Finding My Stamp: May 2013
http://findingmystamp.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 10, 2013. Catch Up Teacher Christmas Gifts. Stampin' Up Matchbox Sizzix Die. I love these little boxes. It's so easy to make a small gift with some chocolates. Card I made years ago with my friend Leah Russel. Bought these little Christmas bulbs a few years ago at IKEA. They are just the right size for a gift accent. I love this ornament punch from Stampin' Up. I am sad it is retiring now. I've seen people make the neatest things with them. Even real looking roses. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
Finding My Stamp: April 2012
http://findingmystamp.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 20, 2012. On the back of all my cards I stamp a recycle sign with wording that says, "Hand stamped by me, recycled by you". I love this stamp from Stampin' Up. It is retired but oh so cute. Lets you know it was handmade but then gives you a little smile. I didn't like the backside of the brads showing on the inside of the cards so I covered them with paper. Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Easter basket for Teachers. These are the Easter gifts I made for my kids' teachers and bus driver. I've been...
Finding My Stamp: Notes from here and there.
http://findingmystamp.blogspot.com/2014/01/notes-from-here-and-there.html
Sunday, January 19, 2014. Notes from here and there. Here are just a few thank you notes I've put together and sent out over the last 6 months. Earlier this year we taught a Sunbeam class at church (the 3-4 year olds). This was a little note they could take home to their father's on Father's Day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Finding My Stamp: January 2014
http://findingmystamp.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 19, 2014. Recently I've been making crafty things for Primary (our time at church that is dedicated to teaching children ages 3-11). Here are a few posters I've finished. I used an elastic string held in place by tiny brads above and below each picture space. This makes it so I can flip the card over when the kids pick it. The cards all have clear velcro on the back. Don't know if you can see it there in the middle. I velcro two cards together with the elastic string caught in the middle.

August 6, 2013. Bull; 1 note. First CoFED family dinner. Last night marked the beginning of the 10-day fellowship retreat I’ve been planning for the Cooperative Food Empowerment Directive (CoFED). After two-and-a-half months of planning and collaboration, it was time for CoFED’s five young and rad regional organizers to gather in Berkeley for an immersive training in cooperative models, food justice and the new economy. My favorite worker-owned grocery store I’ve visited thus far. From the mix of generou...

Finding my Beauty
One girl's search for her Inner and Outer Beauty. Monday, August 16, 2010. Not a fan of Summer, please don't stone me. After avoiding the scale for 6 weeks, I stepped on this morning in my groggy stupor and woke Steve up with my angry scream. 158 blinked at me in bright red. I haven’t been eating my bran buds. Weekends I’ve been drinking like a fish and allowing my life-style diet to go out the window, all because its summer and I feel entitled to binge if I want to. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. I've also b...

Finding MY Bees Knees | A journey of a woman, a mother, a wife
Finding MY Bees Knees. A journey of a woman, a mother, a wife. November 16, 2016. November 16, 2016. Wishing you a day of some struggle, some love and some beautiful peace. THAT mom, yup, it was me. September 15, 2016. September 15, 2016. The day started well, up at 5:30 to feed the cat and start some laundry and begin the process of waking up the 12 year old for middle school. Sure, the coffee over flowed into the counter and the child took 30 minutes to even get out of bed, but these things happen.
