Journey to a healthier and happier me. June 1st started #sweateverydayinjune. I am doing this with several friends, but especially one that I recently reconnected with that I was close with in high school….Jen! So, why not start out the month with a 5k? Me with a lucky odd number bib for once! There were 1,255 women that ran the 5k, and I came in 325th. Which is huge for me. This was the very first 5k that I did ever…in 2012. I have accomplished so much in one year. Me, Jen and her adorable son Tony 🙂.

Journey to a healthier and happier me. I really, really want to be under 200 by the time July 3, 2011 comes around. My goal is 196.8 to be exact. That way I can say I lost 90 pounds in 1 year. I have 22 to go right now and 11 weeks to complete it! First Mini-Goal Weight (280.0lbs):. Second Mini-Goal Weight (275.0 lbs.):. Third Mini-Goal (5% = 272.5 or less). Journey to a healthier and happier me. I actually let myself sleep in for once today! This is HUGE for me. I am one that has been in the routine of hitting the gym at 7a every.single. Saturday and Sunday for I couldn’t even tell you how long. I have been so sore lately though, and worn out, that I decided to actually not set an alarm clock for once and to just wake up next to my husband. Can’t give up! Embarrassed, to say the least, I vowed that I would never in my life reach 300…it was time for a change. Here are my stats. I haven’t been perfect. There have been large losses, but also some gains. Over the course of time, its been up and down, and no where near consistent. It took me a year from this point to get my mind right and ready for the journey, but I hated every single picture from our fabulous vacation with our best friends. I looked so HUGE next to my best friend. It makes me sad. Bethany, Bryan, Me and Alan. This was at Christmas time. Down 53 pounds here. much happier for sure!
