Learning to live in the in-between. My friend died today. My friend, Kate, died today. My beautiful, funny, charismatic, 32 year old friend, Kate, died today. Maybe if i keep typing it, it will somehow feel real. Maybe the shock will wear off. Maybe I’ll wake up and it will have been a dream. But probably not. Today, Kate died from complications related to her anorexia. Multi-system organ failure. Her body quit. It failed. It couldn’t take it anymore. 2 thoughts on “ harsh reality. Enter your comment here.
