Monday, 30 November 2009. These are some notes on mise-en-scene. A director might use. Historical locations to establish where you are in the time period that the show/film is set. Locations to show the audience where the show/film takes place and so that the audience understand the social status such as a coucil estate would suggest one type of social class. Common Place props are often used for authenticity. Noteworthy props are props that are key to the narrative of the story. Very long shot (VLS).

Wednesday, May 12, 2010. When we looked at our footage of what we had filmed, we realised that there were many faults with it. These issues included problems with lighting and continuity, sound was muffled and we had broken the 180 degree rule. We decided that it would be best to create a new title sequence, reshoot and edit it. During the filming process, Ellie and Kate took on the role of directing and filming the sequence together with Ellie making an appearence in the film. I acted in the film.
