Mauri's Musings: A Dream Deferred
http://nymauri.blogspot.com/2011/12/dream-deferred.html
Thursday, December 01, 2011. Ever since spending a few weeks in New York a few years ago, I've thought seriously about living the city life, even if it were for just a few years. I love being at the center of the action and having concerts, museums, and restaurants a walk away. A couple of months ago, my sisters, mom, and I had lunch with Suzy. In many ways, this experience is a little bit of all of those times, and so I have set that dream aside in the ever-present shadows for now. Who knows?

I asked Kevin what his name was, and he said “Catherine.” Then he later nicknamed him “Number.”. Oh, and Happy Mother’s Day! This entry was posted in Uncategorized. And tagged finishing the house.

Finishing The Race | Pursuing God One Shin Splint at a Time
Pursuing God One Shin Splint at a Time. We Have No Bread! August 1, 2015. You probably don’t think of the Bible as humor reading, but there is a passage in Mark that always makes me laugh. Before the hilarity ensues, we need to take a brief walk through what’s happened so far in Mark. Keep reading this on your own, but you know that Jesus proceeds to make five loaves of bread and two fish enough that they all ate and were satisfied, and there were plenty of leftovers too. They’re hungry again, and Jesus ...
