We were awake early for Saturday morning soccer in Bomaderry - so we figured we might as well get out and enjoy the winter sunshine. The Finneys Down Under. Our Year Exchange in Australia. Thursday, April 30, 2015. St Michael's Special Anzac Service. With such a strong connection to the military and local troops, St. Michael's Catholic Primary School had a special Anzac service to commemorate the centenary of Anzac Day today - and treated its students to an up-close-and-personal encounter with a helicopter. There was a "buzz" in the air - and the excitement grew. Mr Paton, St. Michael's Principal, prepared us for the "walk around".

The Finneys Down Under. Our Year Exchange in Australia. Saturday, January 31, 2015. Bushwalking with Bryce in the Worrigee Nature Reserve. We were hoping to see kangaroos on our walk (and other interesting creatures and things! We found the roos, alright! This is a 10 minute walk from our house). The Finneys Down Under. Our Year Exchange in Australia. Thursday, August 6, 2015. Granite Falls and Gondwana Fossils. Underneath the massive rocks in Morton National Park. My mom and I headed south towards Ulladulla. On the way we stopped at the Boyd Rainforest and Lookout and the nearby Granite Falls. Watch out for wombats! Lots of roos nearby as well. We began to see the terrific lookout. We walked under huge rock overhangs. Really interesting to see the compressed layers in the rock. It was SO windy!
