Romantic adventure starts here. I write romantic fiction with fresh, character-driven plots set in exotic locations. Contact: Lesley Ann Smith. It takes some time for a modern woman to see past the spectacularly bad dress sense of a spectacularly beautiful man. Out now, my romantic comedy short story The Truly Awful Shirt Shop. Elvina Payet: Hello There
http://elvinapayet.blogspot.com/2009/08/hello-there.html
8220;Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand.” Chinese proverb. Saturday, August 1, 2009. Another few weeks have passed in a blink. Time spent on doing staircase quotes during the day, the Angel book revisions at night, catching up with friends (especially the gorgeous JEMS. Serena, Josie and Margaret), seeing movies and trying to keep healthy. Some success on all aspects, so I'm happy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

8220;Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand.” Chinese proverb. Monday, August 17, 2009. Well, another week has passed in a blink. The Romance Writers of Australia ( RWA. Conference was held in Brisbane over the weekend and usually I attend, but ill health and circumstances meant I stayed at home and hung around Twitter to see the results. Congrats to all the winners. My great friend, Serena Tatti. But unfortunately didn't win. But in great news, three MRWG.

Julep: Melanie and August Maven Box. Today has been such a long day trying to earn the last of the month's needed SwagBucks. even so I've just kind of been sitting here so I have no idea why I'm so sleepy! Unless it's the heat. Anyway, yesterday was a pretty exciting day. Not the least of which was this fabulous bit of nail mail! Apparently August is Julep's birthday. That explains the pink box. The little box contained my add-on. To celebrate their birthday I got a free tote! I know you are! For a color...

Write!: June 2008
http://writeblogspotcom.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Welcome to Scribbly's blog - Thoughts on writing and on life. Sunday, June 29, 2008. Back In The Saddle Again. Another cliched post title. Come to think of it, I'm full of cliches. Maybe that's what's wrong with my writing. Then again. romance (and probably many other genres) can be cliched, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes cliches provide an element of predictability that - if not over the top - can be comforting for a reader. Sunday, June 22, 2008. Burnin' Down The House. But though I wa...

Write!: What Scribbly Didn't Do
http://writeblogspotcom.blogspot.com/2009/11/what-scribbly-didnt-do.html
Welcome to Scribbly's blog - Thoughts on writing and on life. Thursday, November 5, 2009. What Scribbly Didn't Do. Scribbly started out this year with such promise, and then completely dashed all her hopes of being able to sustain a steady blogging stream. It seemed so easy when there were holidays and loads of free time to commit to frequent posts that would continue throughout the year. Here we are, in November, and the posts have not even been far and few in between. They have been non-existent. Writi...

All is Calm, All is Bright | Modern Farm Wife
https://modernfarmwife.com/2014/12/22/all-is-calm-all-is-bright
An urbanite learning to live the life of a modern farm wife. All is Calm, All is Bright. Today I’m feeling equal parts crazed and contemplative. On one hand, this is Christmas week. Between Wednesday and Sunday we have five different Christmas parties in three different cities. Two are on the same day. We’ll spend our time this week in the car, missing nap time, eating too much sugar, and making small talk with relatives. It will be busy, messy, exhausting, and beautiful. To building yet another new barn.

When I Became a Mother | Modern Farm Wife
https://modernfarmwife.com/2014/11/18/when-i-became-a-mother
An urbanite learning to live the life of a modern farm wife. When I Became a Mother. I don’t even know where to start. I don’t know how to find the language to articulate the profound, irrevocable change that motherhood has rendered within me. I’m stunned by the beauty of it: the love I have for this child. I want to devour him. I want to wrap myself in his impossibly long eyelashes, pressed up against his round, soft cheeks. Yet the last seven months have been the most difficult of my life. For the firs...
