About Me and My Blog. Tuesday, October 16, 2012. The World's First Ada. Today is Ada Lovelace Day. The daughter of poet Lord Bryon, Ada. Is sometimes considered the world's first computer programmer. She was a mathematician who translated notes on Charles Babbage's. From Italian to English and included instructions for use, which could now be considered a computer program. The robust computer language used in avionics and the space industry is named after her: Ada. With the ladies toilets all to myself.

Internationally published artist Fiona Peart is well known for working in water-soluble media, her style has developed over thirty years as a professional artist, exhibiting and selling work regularly. She studied full time drawing and watercolour at the Flemish Academy of Fine Art in Leuven Belgium, successfully graduating and being awarded the best achievement prize in 1990. This led to her exhibiting in various Galleries including The Mall Galleries in London. Married to the late Terry Harrison.
