8220;Techno” is such a generic term, yet so many genres fall into this category. firephly likes to explore with many kinds of genres from ambient to intelligent dance music. Several of her songs have an electronic downtempo feel. Others have a more upbeat dance feel. In many ways the sounds of our world are musical. Currently she is exploring these sounds of everyday life and how they can be used to create soundtracks. You can find her work at Souncloud.

Her mother used to play records while her and her sister cleaned house, so her earliest memories are of Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Captain and Tennille, and The Alan Parson’s Project. With the evolution of technology, creating music became easier for folks like her, who had little money and no access to a recording studio.
