A life changing journey. First day of the New Year. This was all around ten years ago though so I really don’t have any excuse. Since I am 5’8″ tall I can hide some weight but not this much. I mean, my butt is huge! I think that I need to lose about 75 pounds, that would get me to 145, which I think is perfect. I have been reading. Make Over Your Metabolism. January 1, 2007. A life changing journey. I can not say it better than that. It has truly been a crazy day! Anyway due to the excitement with the rash, my bad attitude and a trip to the doctor for me (not related to the rash, but my migraines) I did not exercise. I did do pretty well most of the day on my eating although I did have a small piece of cake tonight. The rest of the day I stayed on track with all my fruit, veggies and protein. I have been fighting with this for 3 months now, so this is great! January 4, 2007.

A life changing journey. I have been pretty busy since Friday! With the help of my family I tore up the carpet in my daughters room and the hallway. Then pulled up the staples and cleaned the floors. After that it was sanded and sanded and sanded! I decided to use a finish of linseed oil so that it was safe for everyone, even the pet dragon. It looks really nice. A life changing journey. I called the doctor but it had stopped by then. They just said to take her to the hospital if she got another one tonight but call her doctor in the morning. January 5, 2007. Salad (Lettuce, Cucumber, Tomato) with fat free dressing. 30 minutes on the treadmill in the morning. 25 minutes on the treadmill in the afternoon. 15 minutes on the treadmill in the evening. 70 minutes total on treadmill. After looking back on how far I’ve come in just this week, I realized that there is one thing I totally forgot. Water. This entire week I have not had a drop of pure water. Probably because I hate tap water and we can’t afford bottled water or a filter for the tap. All I’ve had is juice and soda. Well, no more! I have a weakness for flavored water. It’s so yummy! So I figured I’d give it a shot. Reward: Something Hello Kitty-ish. Reward: A movie to put on my iPod. Reward: Lots of new makeup. Reward: New wardrobe accessories (purse, headbands, jewelry, etc.). Ashley-Marie’s 2007 New Year’s Resolution Journal. January 6, 2007. This really bothers me. I don’t want to slip back into an eating disorder, but I feel so good when I eat so little. I feel strong and in control when I barely eat, then exercise alot. But that scares me. Because it’s hell. Because in the end, you’re not in control at all.
