In this event, the roper ropes the calf from horse back at full speed, dismounts and runs the length of the rope to the calf where the roper has to get the calf on its side and tie three legs together with a six foot pigging string. Team Roping | Strawberry Days Rodeo

Tough Enough to Wear Pink. Team roping is the only team event in rodeo. This event also originated from ranch chores. The team is made up of a header and a healer. The header ropes the horns, then dallies or wraps his rope around his saddle horn and turns the steer to the left for the other cowboy who ropes the heels.
