The Life of a Jenkins'. Thursday, September 6, 2012. I have so many posts saved that I need to load onto Blogger and publish. I've been writing them at work when I need a mental break! I am officially full term and thankful this kiddo has stayed put until 37 weeks. We are READY! It completely breaks my heart to have to leave my sweet girl every morning and walk to a “hell hole.” I call it that because one of our outside vendors made the comment that it looked like people were walking to their death going into our building. At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. Head to rump, baby is about 5 1/2 inches long - about the length of a bell pepper and weighs almost 7 ounces. 6 lbs Not too shabby just yet if I do say so myself. I’m still able to wear some of my ‘regular’ tops that are longer in length.
