Cox Peninsular - Northern Territories. Our 1st camp on the Finnis River - Hardgrave Road boat ramp, a magic quiet spot and no one there, just as well as it's a very small camp site. This is as close as we could get to the water without the Croc's being a potential problem. Early morning mist and mirror. A couple of the locals.

Fishabout - July 07 - Port Roper. Saturday, September 1, 2007. Fishabout - Port Roper. We arrived at Port Roper mid morning and no other camper's - beauty! This was the only day the wind (easterly) did not start until well into the afternoon, every other day it was blowing 20 - 25 kph by 0900hrs if not earlier. Thus limited fly fishing time on the water. Tried bait misiing with no fish, plenty on the sounder but down deep and not hungry. Had a beach line out for 3 days and not even a cat fish!

Fishabout - Aug. 08 Titchilla. Wednesday, January 9, 2008. Fishing the tides at Titchilla. We arrived in Port Hedland and stayed a week, finishing off Linden's bird cage, repaired the Wabasto heater on our Bushtracker and several other minor adjustments. Checked out the Skeet range. That's right didn't even look like hitting a target! Roast pig and 'ROCKY" got the bone! We were off next day - 'FISHIN'. Alas no water at Condon, just to far to drag the tinnie, and if the wind gets up no where to hide!

Fishabout - Sept. 08 Fortescue River Mouth. Sunday, September 21, 2008. FISHABOUT SEPT. 08 - Fortescue River Mouth. Back to the coast after Karajini National Park. Magic spot and only one other camper here. Camp near the boat ramp but far enough away to minimise the 'Sand Fly' population. The first week was good fishing then the moon and tide cycles changed. Catching plenty of these fellow's all under size near the river mouth. Wahsed down by flood water from up near the Fortescue River Road House.

Headed back east from Fowlers Bay to Penong to get a few veggies, a pub meal, which was excellent, 'Westies Burger' with the lot, over the sink job! Checked out the golf for future ref. Nullarbor Links - the World's Longest Golf Course. It will be the longest round of golf you will every play,. In both time and distance - 4 days!
