Our 2nd visit to Geues at the Head of the Bight was even better than our 1st visit. How can that be you may ask! Well all will be revealed as you view this BLOG. Oct09 - Yalata, Guese. Saturday, January 9, 2010. Fishabout - Oct. 09 Guese 3rd visit - Head of The Bight. Time to catchup with my brothers at The Head of The Bight - Guese. Headed back east from Fowlers Bay to Penong to get a few veggies, a pub meal, which was excellent, 'Westies Burger' with the lot, over the sink job! Checked out the golf for future ref. Nullarbor Links - the World's Longest Golf Course. It will be the longest round of golf you will every play,. In both time and distance - 4 days!

King Ash Bay - May 06. Saturday, September 8, 2007. King Ash Bay - May 06. Here's the lay of the land, and without a GPS you can get "bush-wacked" in this case "mangrove-wacked" in a hurry. It's a long way to Davies Channel, (33.46k's to be exact) but for fly fishing at least we have clearing water for sight fishing, plus it's a great day out and the fishing grounds all to ourselves. FISHABOUT - Nov.06 -Lincoln National Park. Monday, December 18, 2006. FISHABOUT - Nov.06 - Lincoln National Park. After resuppling we departed the hussle and bussle of Port Lincoln to view it from Lincoln National Park. 30k's later we are setting up camp at our beach front location, but only 8k's by boat to Billy Lights Point and 11k's to the Marina Tavern. Our camp location, remote, but not so remote! Our "Tinnie" ready to go! From the wind that is! Best part of the day! Another magic end to the day!

Our third visit to Lincoln National Park (Home Town) Like most folk's when you live (till I was 20) local you never have time to enjoy the local environment. Also another special reason was our K.I.S.S. celebrations. Once again our camp site was vacant when we arrived, most camper setup at the other locations with a drop dunny and water tanks. After our Oyster farm tour, restock supplies, repaired the water pump on the outboard and ready to check out the local fishing! Ready to set up the annexe, full camp set up takes about an 1 hour! No water to beach launch our tinnie. It's a controlled burn off behind North Side Hill. Every one gets nervous when they see smoke like this! We had 10 days with calm water conditions like this,.

Fishabout - Lincoln National Park. Sunday, July 25, 2010. Lincoln National Park - April 10. After 10 days or so on the oyster farm and the constant 'WIND' this is more like our fair weather fishing conditions! The fog rolled across the sand flat's at low tide. Now you have to be good to catch em' this. My 1st King Fish. Don't even come close to Sue's hooks or your landed. (jagged). Good feed for a couple of days! Yet another magic morning! Chris pulled some razor fish, hence he got to clean them!

FISHABOUT- King Ash Bay Aug.Sep. 2011. Saturday, 10 September 2011. FISHABOUT - Port Lincoln to KING ASH BAY. Two weeks in Port Lincoln fine tuning the 'TROOPY' for her maiden 'TOWING' trip. Haven't even left town and a chipped windscreen from one of. Routine road check up the road found van bearings / brakes HOT. Recently adjusted brakes, so backed off the brakes. Coober Pedy camels being relocated - tour operator conducting camel treks thru the outback. Frill neck lizard - couldn't get him to FRILL!
