After the stump ripped a hole in our left front tire touring Mt Ive Station. I was hoping to get another 10 -15,000k's out of them, not to be. Fishabout - May 08 Quongdong Beach. Monday, July 21, 2008. Fishabout - Quongdong Point. Quongdong Point / Beach is 35k's north of Broome. It's a free camp site, the sign said 72, as we drove past. After a pleasant two weeks, we depart and a closer read of the sign states, 'camping permitted for 72 hours'. Oh, well we never saw the Ranger! That made us feel better. Sue there's a Croc on the beach! So we went and had a look - gotya! Kid's camping over in the next beach had fun with their artistic flair.

King Ash Bay - May 2010. Sunday, May 30, 2010. King Ash Bay - April 2010. It's getting and is COLD in Port Lincoln, we have three blankets on, plus a sleeping bag and the WABSTO is working over time. Time to head North! Oyster farming to be revisited later in the year, along with LNP and some KGW. My brother Neil did some last minute repairs to a bent chine bar, which finally failed after being dragged thru bog holes, creek beds and over sand ridges. Desert drive via Gary Junction Road is over and heading to the coast, Scotts Beach west of Fowlers bay. A brief stop in Alice Springs for fresh fruit and veggies and we are off! No one's going to touch the trike! In Australia the Kangaroos have a tendancy to jump out from behind scrub or just go across the road in front of vehicles and no way to avoid them. Our 4th visit to Geues, Mullaway fishing, or any thing 'BIG' besides Port Jackson's or Stingrays! Entry sign to Coombra Track - 34k's to our camp site, 2 hours and 10 minutes a record as we only had one tree to prune. Soon on the beach and landing not so big fish on rather large hook's, Yah! Monday, September 28, 2009. Titchilla Sept. 09. Arrived at my brothers place in South Hedland and camped for a week before heading off to put some fish in our freezer before heading off thru the desert on the Gary Junction Road to Alice Springs. Several visit's to the local Mitre 11 salvaged a few useable items, and some that were returned when examined closely. Arrived at Titchila 3 hours after departing Port Hedland, it's a slow track into the coast. Even with the full annexe. Best part of the day!
