Fishin' on the Cove. Thursday, June 2, 2011. Here is a few photos from a day about a month ago, fishing for some Rainbows along the Bowmanville Creek. This Spring we didn't catch as many as we hoped, and compared to how many we catch in the fall when the salmon spawn, but we still had fun catching the few we did. I also took some video from this day, so keep checking back for an edit of the day. Cooper with a nice little guy. As you can see we all got into fly fishing quite a bit. Another fly Cooper tied.

Fishin' on the Cove. Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Yesterday, Tanner, Pat and I headed over to a little run off pond near us to catch some bass. We each caught a few and got some pictures off them. Should be a lot more caught from here in the next little while! First catch of the night.Second cast with a crank bait. Tanner with one a little while after. Pat taking the hook out of a nice one. There was no way Pat was going to lose this one.Couldn't even see the hook it was so far down! Fishin' On The Cove.

Had to have been the best year for them yet.most and biggest we've ever caught! Tanner with a big old male. Artsy photo of Tanner and one. Connor Mageua with one down by the marina. Caught this one after a big rainfall. Tanner caught one by the winch park. Releasing a nice coho. Cooper having a hard time holding this guy up. Connor Smith with a nice chinook.
