Imagine with me, if you will, a large mound of snow pushing itself off the ground and loosely resembling a human body. The creatures stood 10 to 12 feet high, and varied all shapes and sizes. Some stood tall while others haunched their backs. One had a large round head, and yet the one next to it had no head at all! It was filed under Uncategorized.

Just Another Day in Paradise. Friday, December 21, 2012. After Thanksgiving Mom came back with me and Lee to Knoxville until Christmas while Dad finished up his last month of work. He finally decided to retire and they sold their house and are moving to Oklahoma (about an hour north of Dallas). So exciting to have them closer.even if it is still 12 hours. Just Another Day in Paradise. Sunday, April 29, 2012. We always have a great time at Makin' Music and love getting to visit Freed-Hardeman for the weekend. For anyone who might not know, MM is where the FHU social clubs tell a story through music and compete against each other for the best show. Sounds simple, but they put in a ton of work with singing, costumes, and the whole production. Lee, Hannah, and Spencer before the show. Me with Hannah and Spencer. I wanted to make it really special and had so much help from family and friends to make it happen. It started with a surprise party in Knoxville the weekend before Thanksgiving. There were 70 people who came and celebrated with us - we are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our life! Surprise - 2 tickets to the Dallas Cowboys game on Thanksgiving Day!

Thankfully, we are blessed with amazing friends who let us move in for 3 days, found a contractor who could switch it out for free since it was under warranty and who put it in for $150. Just Another Day in Paradise. Saturday, May 14, 2011. Two weeks ago, I went on a work trip to Orlando, FL. It was for a user-conference hosted by the company who provides the software we use in Transportation at Kimberly-Clark. It was at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort which was incredibly nice (and expensive - glad I did not have to pay for this! Arriving - I was like a little kid. Love Disney! The dolphin which I think looks like a carp or catfish. Disney characters all built out of Legos.

Just Another Day in Paradise. Friday, June 29, 2012. I always think the Vacation Bible School we put on at Karns is great every year. But this year, I really think it was a step up. Everything was so detailed and everyone worked so hard! Our theme was Bible heroes. Night 1: David and Goliath. Lee and the other Israelites coming out to face Goliath.only to run away. :). David facing down Goliath. I loved this mid-fall action shot even if it was a little blurry. David is the hero! Oh just wait and see.
