The Lane's: February 2010
http://jaredandlindsay.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 7, 2010. So we've been through the holidays and ALL of January. Time for one of the best and easiest recipes I have. I haven't made it for awhile, but Megan made it for Ty the other day and reminded me how amazing it is and it's EASY! And yes, it is VERY similar to the CAFE RIO pork. Do a salad, or a burrito, or what ever you want. It also freezes very well! 6 lbs pork roast. 1 16 oz. bottle salsa. 2 cups brown sugar. 1 lb long-grain rice (2 ¼ C) 1 bunch of cilantro. 1 C mayo 3 tomatillas.

http://jaredandlindsay.blogspot.com/2009/02/most-productive-crazy-and-frustrating.html
Monday, February 23, 2009. So I let it sit for a minute by cleaning out my wallet. No Luck again. So I cleaned out the glove box, No LUCK AGAIN! Now I'm frustrated. So I called Jared and low and behold, WHOOPS, dropped my cell phone in my drink! They had decided not to because they had no cash. So, of course, I gave them a few bucks for a jump, oh, whoops! So my summary for the day is this, it was very productive, adventurous and frustrating. What I got out of it, nails (that I later decided make me ...

http://howickfamily.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Living in a cupboard. Pirate Island.never again. We only ordered pizza and mozzarella sticks but still, we had to go find the waiter at least three times that I can think of for our drinks, silverware, boxes, plates.everything! We might as well have been our own waiters! Although the pizza wasn't too bad, It wasn't the best either! I think we will probably not be going back and if you would like to, I would reccommend NOT going on a Saturday night! Ashtyn tried so hard to stay ...

http://howickfamily.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 17, 2010. Fun in the sun in Moab. Also in April, we headed down to Moab. It was the first time the boys have ever been down there and we had a great time! Thank you Josie and Gary for inviting us! We went a hike to see the delicate arch, which was beautiful. We also spent our couple of days, riding bikes, golfing and lounging in the pool! It was perfect weather and a wonderful weekend getaway! While we were in Moab, Ashtyn lost his first tooth! Easter weekend out camping. He loves his big ...

http://howickfamily.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Unfortuantely, When we went out the other day, Ashtyn's face fell when he saw that his snowman had tipped over and was slowly melting. But he cheered up quickly when I told him we could build another one after the next big storm! A beautiful winter night. It was a wonderful night and one that I hope the kids will always remember! Ashtyn is now taking Karate. I decided he needed something to do, especially with winter being here and thus decided Karate would be prefect! He may ...

Thursday, August 20, 2009. I love these kids! While daddy's away.we will play. In July James took a much needed little getaway down to St George for some summer golfing with his cousin and even talked our brother in law into going with him. Sorry Ryan! Golfing in 110 degree weather does not sound fun to me! Thanks Cody and Skye for your hospitality! The next day we decided to take the kids to Chuck E Cheeses for dinner and Ashtyn had so much fun! Even though we had a great weekend, we were all very excit...

The Lane's: December 2009
http://jaredandlindsay.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 7, 2009. Well everyone, I think I may have thought of something to get me excited about posting again. I started thinking about life and what I choose to do with mine. We spend countless hours with friends and family, and what do we do with them? Because of the time of year my clients and I have also been sharing lots of recipe ideas, as we are all tired of making the same thing to take to EVERY party! Don't for bet about the beer pong championship! Yes, Jared and Brandon won AGAIN!
