For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. (Romans 14:8-9). Thinking about memories calls to mind one of my favorite passages from The Fellowship of the Ring.

I remember packing the blankie that morning to make sure we wouldn't leave without it, but Sarah informed me that she snuck it out and forgot to put it back.
