http://aggiesoles.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Papa Bear's Marathon "MANIAC" Training. Marathon Maniac #788 on a 50 state journey, 8 marathons have been completed in 6 states in the last 12 months (MO, OK(2), HI(2), AR, TX, MN). Sunday, March 30, 2008. The Maniac Is Back! I can add more detail if anyone might be interested in running this race in the future, I don't think I'll be adding it to my conquests to repeat, at least for a while. But it is certainly a fun race and scenic. Posted by Randy - Maniac #788. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Back of the ...

Running and running...knees be damned: Playing doctor
http://bleedingnipples.blogspot.com/2006/11/playing-doctor.html
Running and running.knees be damned. Just started running again - small goals - 1/2 marathon first - if my knee holds up then maybe a full marathon. Thursday, November 09, 2006. Been really busy in the hospital of late and been a little injured from Sunday's run - so it's been a slow running (actually no running) and blogging. Hope to get back on the horse over the weekend. Posted by kivster at 6:22 AM. I only JUST understood the point of the photo 5 min ago. Eww. I mean, ouch. View my complete profile.

http://raulisrunning.blogspot.com/2013/05/race-report-04272013-leona-divide-50.html
A Smudge On The Collective Unconscious. There is no off position on the genius switch. Friday, May 17, 2013. Race Report: 04.27.2013 Leona Divide 50 Mile Trail Race. Perhaps the biggest news to emerge from my first ultramarathon apart from finishing it (yay! I went into the race feeling very anxious, an anxiety I hadn't experienced since I ran my first marathon eight years ago. But now that it's done I still can't believe that I ran fifty miles and it turned out as well as I could have hoped. Me on the W...

Legs & Wings: June 2009
http://makingthetime.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 26, 2009. Running this week: 0 Miles. I’ve been too busy to talk about it but I am incredibly blessed. School is finally out and things will hopefully settle down for the summer. The last few weeks have been a blur and a rush all at once. Chris was exempt from writing all of his Grade 8 exams again this year. Hallelujah! RunningWife and the other two kids, Sam and Ben are super. They’re growing up. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Follow me on Twitter. South Shore, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Legs & Wings: July 2009
http://makingthetime.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 30, 2009. It has been tougher this week in some respects. It's been hot and humid on the south shore of Nova Scotia. By hot, I mean 30 C or 86 F. It doesn't often get much hotter than that in these parts. It also poured buckets the other morning.it caused me to laugh a few times - not that there's anything particularly funny about running in a downpour. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Local gals nail it. Life is good here. Friday, July 24, 2009. Running Miles This Week: 30. Frankly, I've been pret...

Legs & Wings: Suddenly Spring
http://makingthetime.blogspot.com/2012/02/suddenly-spring.html
Thursday, February 23, 2012. Winter has drifted by without much ceremony. March will be here in a few days and the switch back to Daylight Savings Time. That's the turning point for me. Been pulled away from running on a regular basis so I think I will shelf my spring marathon plan for now. Too many balls in the air at the moment. Regards to all those who are better organized than I am. I see dozens of committed runners everyday dutifully making the rounds. I wish I were among them. Follow me on Twitter.

A Smudge On The Collective Unconscious: I'm Back!
http://raulisrunning.blogspot.com/2012/07/im-back.html
A Smudge On The Collective Unconscious. There is no off position on the genius switch. Friday, July 06, 2012. Didn't realize I was gone? Well, I was. I took a two-week jaunt to the Philippines to visit family and relax at the beautiful El Nido Resort. Fact of the matter is I relaxed way too much. I ran not one step during my stay. By the third day my legs were feeling like jelly. By the fourth I was going into heavy withdrawals. I wanted to run! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
