Sitting outdoors, I’d have either some fruit or yoghurt as I people-watch. It’s a relatively quiet corner, you see a couple of flashy cars drive by the roads, some moms grocery shopping with their cute lil’ babies, office workers coming out for a quick bite…. It's not about me. Friday, February 17, 2012. How did my life mess up this way? I use to cry; throw a tantrum. When the day doesn’t go my way. I had my life laid out nicely on a picnic mat. Everything in its perfect place –. Quaint picnic basket filled with strawberries;. Crystal champagne cups filled with glistening grape juice;. A windy cloudy day and an slender ant-less tree to lean on. While I delightfully savour a book. Everything has always fallen in place. For that perfect day to last forever.

Wednesday, November 1. Five year check up. Her appointment was scheduled to be about 2 weeks after theirs and she asked me all the time how much longer it was until her "big kid shots". It helped that we told her she had to have all those shots in order to go to school. She had neighbor kids telling her shots hurt and they're the worst and she stood firm in the fact that they barely hurt and she liked getting them. This girl.
