July 05, 2010. Full on farm talk. Such a fantastic day. it seems like a good one to blog about. We woke up to the rooster cockadoodling SO loud right beside our tent. we have set up our tent in the orchard that is shared with the chicken coop. i just discovered today that i can lock the chickens in their coop AND i got ear plugs today, so i'm hyped for tomorrow morning. anyways, he wakes us up early, like around 4! November 22, 2010. When it is cold outside. It's gotten cold. reeeeal cold. we're all working our winter wardrobes out. i'm wearing my snowpants basically all the time and paul is looking like a Stanfield's spokesmodel in his all gray, long john outfit. the wood burning stove is roaring all the time. the river is frozen and begging to be skated on. Everyone's mostly been working inside the house - working on our cold room, butchering ducks, fixing the leaky bathtub. I miss you lady! November 24, 2010.

March 19, 2010. Today we made a decision! We are leaving on april 20th! Been riding the sojourn, trying to break 'er in. it's fucking sweet! So many gears, which get more and more amazing as i slowly learn how to utilize them more and more. March 03, 2011. Food talk and talk talk. I typed out the following draft on valentines day:. I'm on the second evening of (water only) fasting, and the two days before i ate nothing but apples. i really didn't even know if i would make it through a day of apples only, but so far so good. if nothing else, the experience has given me a new appreciation of food and the whole ordeal of eating. but combined with saunas every second day i'm sure it has been pretty detoxifying. January 17, 2011. Hi, how are you? I've been doing some amount or type of yoga every day and i feel richly rewarded by it. i feel limber and stronger. i can do a headstand! I like this website: Yoga Journal/. Especially the "POSES" section where you can sort poses in different ways and build sequences of them. i find it helpful to learn a batches of poses at a time and work on them until they are very comfortable, then go build a new sequence (on the site, or in your notebook, or brain). Here are also some photos of the gigantically awesome swans we had swimming around in our field a few weeks ago. How long until you get your bees? How does one get bees?
