Frank's Trip to Sichuan, China. Wednesday, June 14, 2006. People are known to be more laid back in the western provinces of China(just like in the U.S.), Chengdu is no exception. The people here were very welcoming and greeted me with smiles along with their stares. A "dirty" Mandarin is spoken here, absolutely no English outside the hotel. While I had a hard time understanding their diolect, I was able to get by with my broken Mandarin. Horse play in the streets. Boon Lay, Singapore. 2000 Year Old Dam.
