No, Norway doesn’t have a different amount of hours in the day, but they do use those hours differently that the people in America. And I will miss it! On top of the world. Two years in Norway. August 16, 2015. The kids loved Egon’s. Their food was gone in no time. Wes and Hyrum had hamburgers and Mark had a hotdog. Eliza branched out to a grilled chicken breast with some really yummy seasonings on top (so she described). On the way home we stopped at Eurospar and bought everybody a treat. On top of the world. August 8, 2015. Looking through the pictures from Sommarøy, I was struck AGAIN by the beauty of that place. I had to post some more pictures, especially of our hikes up Hillesøy. The water was SO calm as we walked to the start of the trail. Let it be know that Eliza LOVES to hunt for berries. She completely filled 2 pockets with them. But not to eat (most weren’t ripe). Just for the beauty of the colors. It was so fun to hunt berries with her. This is what we were looking for.

On top of the world. Telegrafbukta, August 14, 2015. August 16, 2015. The Grens fest Friday took us to yet another awesome park. Right at the southern tip of the island. (Just east of where we celebrated Midsummer’s natt.) It was fantastic! The weather that had been cloudy all day cleared just as we started. The area was beautiful, the beach very inviting and they even had a workout area and sand volleyball courts. A great fest for all. At long last Liza found her beloved monkey bars! Not so common here.
