Working freelance, however, is no easy task. I was unemployed for nearly 5 months before landing a great 2-year contract gig at a big company. Then I was unemployed for 3 months, got a 6 week contract, unemployed another 3 months, got a 4 week contract etc. etc. There are a lot of ups and downs. How do I deal with that?
