Lauren Flannery's A2 Media Studies Project. Wednesday, 5 May 2010. The Southend Scoop poster. The poster for my newspaper was created on Photoshop and I have attempted to make it eye-catching for potential audiences interested in reading my newly produced newspaper. I intended on using the title and tagline from the website as the main attraction of the poster so the title itself should draw in audiences after looking at the poster. It is a simple design but eccentric enough to draw in audiences.

It symbolises the visual aspects that you would think of with the word 'scoop'. I will be using this as part of the newspaper title as most newspapers have something they use, usually fonts, that you would relate to the newspaper, and this logo is what will relate to my newspaper. Common terms used to create a newspaper. Messages printed in newspaper space paid for by the advertiser.

The concentration is going into the bold title that stands out and the large advertisement at the base of the page. Instead of an advertisement, however, I have made a competition advertisement instead as they seem popular for readers in major newspapers so it seems more realistic to use them.
