Wildlife photography through the lens of an animator. Sunday, March 18, 2012. Powerful Owl – a bird of habit. I'm slowly losing motivation to shoot as my photographic gear seems to be ageing and not delivering the quality I'm after. My life lately has been full of all kinds of personal and professional disappointments and that, too, affects the levels of photographic enthusiasm. Powerful Owl, NSW. Wildlife photography through the lens of an animator. Friday, October 16, 2009. People keep asking what my equipment is, how I use it, if I'm happy with it. Decided to write a few words about this. I've had several film cameras. The first one was a Смена 8М, documented in a photo. From 1974 or 75. It was fast for a compact, but not fast enough for birds in flight. I soon realized I needed something much better, and, unfortunately, much more expensive. I don't regret. I bought an EOS 30D body,. Many times...

Wildlife photography through the lens of an animator. Saturday, November 12, 2011. MY Bob Barker in Sydney. I went to see the Bob Barker. Today and took a few photos. The ship is ready to take off for Hobart, where all three Sea Shepherd vessels will meet and start this year's anti whaling operation in the Southern Ocean. As always I made a small donation, wished the good and brave young people on board luck and am hoping that this really is going to be the last year of Japanese whaling. The arrogant, sa...

Wildlife photography through the lens of an animator. Sunday, April 21, 2013. On 25 March my ex-wife, Maria, and I marked 10 years since we landed in Sydney with two backpacks and the money to buy one decent DSLR body with a couple of lenses. Sulphur-crested Cockatoos and Ibis were friendlier than the people and greeted us with 'Good morning'. These 10 years were hard. There were many changes and huge disappointments. Zoos always make me very sad. but this one is kind of OK. Labels: [ marsupial ]. Subscr...
