Saturday, January 17, 2009. Boy, is this a surprise. Yesterday, Circuit City announced it was closing all of its stores. I am really surprised by this. This was one of the stores I least expected to ever close. They're not wasting any time either. This afternoon, I was riding down Wendover Avenue here in Greensboro and saw people standing on the side of the road with Going Out of Business signs. So, if there's a certain plasma screen HD TV you've been wanting, now might be the time to get it.

Sunday, October 07, 2007. Great Progress on Painter Boulevard. I must say that the current segment of the Greensboro Urban Loop that is under construction is making pretty great progress. What I've seen so far recently:. Concrete and pavement have seemed to have been laid out. Sign posts have been put up and even a couple of signs. You can now make out the on/off-ramps. What still needs to be done:. More road signs need to be put up. Lines need to be painted. Medians need to be installed. Sure, Why Not.

Friday, December 14, 2007. New Section of Greensboro Loop to Open Tuesday. Well, it's been since February 2004 that the last segment of the Greensboro Urban Loop opened. Well, the next wait is about over. According to WFMY News 2, a three mile segment of the loop from Interstate 40 to Bryan Boulevard near PTI Airport will open Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 10:00 AM. The exciting part, the segment from Interstate 40 to the current end near Grandover Resort won't open until early 2008. The Blog of Natalie.

Thursday, December 11, 2008. Pictures of Winston-Salem K-Mart. This past Sunday, I had the opportunity to visit the K-Mart on Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem. Currently, this would definitely be my favorite existing K-Mart because it hasn't done much updating since the early '90s, except for pictures of Hannah Montana every where you look. I took some quick pictures of the store on my cell phone. I apologize for the quality of these pictures. There's nothing I love more than an old Kmart store!
