K's Blog: June 2009
http://futers.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
A lot of talk about children, husbands, homes, food, travels and everything else that makes up domestic bliss. Friday, June 19, 2009. I did also contribute by doing the face painting. We paint little flags on the children's cheeks or the backs of their hands. Unfortunately, a poster entitled Flags of the World was provided and the children would choose the most elaborate flags! Next it's the school disco. We've always missed this because we went to the US the last two years. This year we'll be at...

A lot of talk about children, husbands, homes, food, travels and everything else that makes up domestic bliss. Thursday, July 31, 2008. Our summer topic is painting. I like to have something to fall back on when Toby is off school and I have both children at home. We did Ancient Egypt over the last half-term and this summer we're doing painting. We started with prehistoric painting. We tried making reverse handprints. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Imagine being wedged into a packed, standing room only train ...

K's Blog: Second-hand house
http://futers.blogspot.com/2009/05/second-hand-house.html
A lot of talk about children, husbands, homes, food, travels and everything else that makes up domestic bliss. Monday, May 04, 2009. First off, this made me laugh. I mean, a 'used house'? As if a house isn't a permanent structure to be lived in by different people and families through the years. What's the alternative? Everyone building new houses? What happens when someone wants or needs to move? Have you been to TX lately? Nothing but new McMansions everywhere. scary. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

A lot of talk about children, husbands, homes, food, travels and everything else that makes up domestic bliss. Sunday, August 31, 2008. Toby talking to Rosie:. Just get Mommy to do it. She's our servant. Busy, busy, busy. This week is going to be a big one. We close on the house on Tuesday which means that it's finally ours and we get the keys and everything! But it'll have a lovely flow of space too. I still need to find a decorator and sort out a carpet runner for the stairs. That's something else ...

K's Blog: Getting old, for real now
http://futers.blogspot.com/2009/05/getting-old-for-real-now.html
A lot of talk about children, husbands, homes, food, travels and everything else that makes up domestic bliss. Thursday, May 14, 2009. Getting old, for real now. Later I was chatting to a friend, another mum about the same age, and she said that she had started getting sinus infections too. She looked into it and discovered that sinus infections are common in women in the their late 30s and early 40s and can become chronic until the menopause. Fantastic. She can't have any more children!

A lot of talk about children, husbands, homes, food, travels and everything else that makes up domestic bliss. Sunday, April 26, 2009. I can't believe it's been so long. It's been ages since I wrote a blog entry, but I've been spending more and more time on Facebook. It's so immediate and I can send updates from my phone. Actually, I could probably do that on blogger. I should look into it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. St Margaret's of Lee Primary School. FEEDJIT Live Traffic Feed.

http://futers.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
A lot of talk about children, husbands, homes, food, travels and everything else that makes up domestic bliss. Monday, September 29, 2008. Jason stayed at the house today to oversee the packing. I took Rosie to playgroup, went over to Chalcroft to deal with decorators and cleaners, hit the home stores for bits and pieces like light shades and a new toilet seat, then bought food, plates and cutlery for dinner. Everything was packed. So tomorrow is the big day! Sunday, September 28, 2008. Tuesday, Septembe...

A lot of talk about children, husbands, homes, food, travels and everything else that makes up domestic bliss. Monday, June 30, 2008. Last Friday I hosted a coffee morning here at the house. I don't know what we call it in Texas. It's just a group of women and children getting together to play, drink coffee, eat cakes and gossip. I guess in Texas we call that a weekday. Thursday, June 26, 2008. A St Sebastian reliquary. And the Vivienne Westwood Watteau. The reliquary was the last object I worked on when...

A lot of talk about children, husbands, homes, food, travels and everything else that makes up domestic bliss. Sunday, November 30, 2008. This will be brief because I'm so full that I need to go lay down. Saturday, November 29, 2008. I'm hoping this will relieve some of my pre-Thanksgiving stress. New pecan pie recipe and it just doesn't seem to be working and Tobes just pooed on the bathroom rug (don't ask). 1 Wrapping paper or gift bags? Paper If I have time I really enjoy wrapping the presents. Love C...
