Musings: September 2008
http://revcounselor.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 8, 2008. I am a very optimistic person. Especially when it comes to other human beings. I think most people are good and honest. Most people want to help other people out, but generally do not help because of fear. Of course the fear comes from a few people who act out and ruin it for the rest of us. My optimism was recently tested, though. Are we truly afraid to help other people? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Who Am I, in brief. View my complete profile.

Musings: April 2009
http://revcounselor.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 6, 2009. This is a story I wrote for Palm Sunday. I hope you enjoy it. I have to admit, that I was a little scared, but very excited as well. There were so many people there and I was very little. I was afraid that I would get lost, so I held tightly to my father’s hand. I tugged on his arm once and asked him, “Father why are there so many people here and what are they excited about? Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! 10 Blessed is the coming kingdom of our ancestor David!

Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Love Yourself, Love Others. It has been quite some time since I Blogged, but it is time to start writing again. Not everything can be said in the few words allowed by Facebook. The freedom to see and hear what is here, instead of what should be, was or will be. recognizing the moments: July 2008
http://recognizingthemoments.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
I think I will blog about moments. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. I lifted this from a friends blog. Thanks Sonja. It's a game that makes you think.about precious moments.happy moments.sad moments. Take a moment to reflect and fill in the blanks. It's simple. Replace my answers with your own. I THINK - too long, and then I'm indecisive. I KNOW- I am a sinner saved by grace. I HAVE- wonderful friends and family. I WISH- my kids lived closer to me. I HATE- running out of milk, coffee, and Dr. Pepper. I AM HAPPY...

I think I will blog about moments. Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Barak Obama has just been elected the next president of the United States and I am proud and sad at the same time. I am sad that when I stepped into the voting booth today I still did not know who I was going to vote for. I want to be moved, impressed, and motivated by a candidate. I want to be passionate about the people and things that I support. not confused. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://deeplycommitted.blogspot.com/2007/06/top-10-highlights-of-annual-conference.html
Friday, June 1, 2007. Top 10 Highlights of Annual Conference. When I first began this blog I asked Andrew Conard of Thoughts of Resurrection. For his advice. He provided several helpful suggestions, one of which was to check out a post called Blogging 101 for Pastors. By Church Communications Pro. This is a helpful series of blogs if you are thinking about starting your own, or even improving the one you've already got. One of the things that was highly recommended was making lists. 8 Lots of great food.

deeply committed: What Are You Reading?
http://deeplycommitted.blogspot.com/2007/06/what-are-you-reading.html
Thursday, June 7, 2007. What Are You Reading? Last night I realized I need to update my "currently reading" list. I recently finished Free of Charge. And was wondering what to read next. I thought, hey why don't I go and check out what I'm currently reading on my blog. And there was one book left. Then this morning I thought, why don't I ask for help from the blogosphere. So, what are you reading? Or, what have you recently read that you would highly recommend? Posted by Kevin Watson. By Borg and Crossan.

deeply committed: Derek Webb Is Crooked Deep Down
http://deeplycommitted.blogspot.com/2007/06/derek-webb-is-crooked-deep-down.html
Friday, June 8, 2007. Derek Webb Is Crooked Deep Down. In some ways Derek Webb's. Music has played all of those roles in my life. Center Aisle and Table for Two from his Caedmon's Call. Days helped me to wrestle with the loneliness that I occasionally wrestled with in college. I have also been known to just turn up the volume and sing along to Daring Daylight Escape and Thankful (also from Caedmon's days). My life looks good i do confess, you can ask anyone. Just don’t ask my real good friends. And then ...
