One of the major were the 1992 Olympic games, when several stadiums were located at the Montjuic: until 2008 the Olympic stadium was the home of football club Espanyol. The roads in the slopes facing the city were four times the home of Spanish grand prix: due to a terrible accident which killed 4 people the grand prix never returned to this historical location.
