The Palladian chapel, which was completed in 1812, has been fully restored. The exterior strongly resembles an Italian villa whilst the interior features superb 19th-century furnishings including a three-tier mahogany pulpit and cherrywood pews. Stanley was with us for Easter Sunday. We got stacks of Easter Eggs and presents, it was great! This lot is Carter's loot, and you can see that Stanley was impressed. Click for a larger picture. And also with Taylor's stack of eggs and presents! Both of us were stuck into the chocolate Eggs before 10am. And we suspect that Stanley may have had more than his fair share. He wasn't quite. So flat by lunchtime.

On Easter Monday we took Stanley out to one of the newer museums in Newcastle, the Life Science Centre. This is a great place, with loads of stuff about dinosaurs, DNA, evolution and wildlife - and even football (soccer to our American friends! There were a few eggstra events on for Easter, such as a Chocolate laboratory. Don't look up, Stanley! Prehistoric ocean life.and Stanley. Stanley was impressed with the magic show, which had stacks of magic tricks with eggs. Quite a few got smashed!

Myles sent Flat Stanley to visit Grandma in Webster, NY. Thursday, June 10, 2010. Today I had to say goodbye to everyone. I had a great time in Rochester and maybe Myles will bring me back here the next time he comes. This is me getting a goodbye kiss from Grandma as she is getting me ready for my travels. Sunday, March 1, 2009. Well, our trip is coming to an end and we're on our way back to the USA. I hope it's not snowing or anything when I get home.
