Saturday, November 19, 2011. This morning we went to Beacon Rock. It started snowing! So it was our first official snow sighting since moving from Florida. After a few weeks without getting into the woods, we decided it was time - rain or shine. Well, of course, it was raining, but we went anyway. There's a river north of here, in Battleground, that has four waterfalls within ten miles. These are a few shots of our time. Second, we went trick-or-treating and got way too much candy!

Sunday, April 4, 2010. We've given a lot of love to our little beetle in the past couple of months. It has gotten new wheels and tires, a bike rack, new Euro emblems, bushings, shifter boot and a little doctoring under the hood. After watching "The Love Bug" and "Herbie Rides Again", the kids affectionately call it "Daddy's Herbie" (but we all know it's really for me). Saturday, October 1, 2011. We could not have asked for a better day to visit Mt. St. Helens! It was our third straight day of sun and we were counting our blessings! Ana and Isaac weren't sure they wanted to visit an active volcano. Ana kept asking why we would want to go. "How do you know it won't explode? This statue of Big Foot stands in front of a Sasquatch Gift Shop. Inside they have all kinds of Big Foot items for sale and display. Sunday, December 11, 2011. Frenchman's Bar and Vancouver Lake. This was such a fun bike ride! David had Ana on the trail-a-bike and I had Isaac in the trailer. We rode first to Frenchman's Bar on the Columbia River, then to Vancouver Lake where we ate our picnic. You can see Mt. Hood in the picture below. On a clearer day, you can also see Mt. Adams and Mt.
