Thursday, December 21, 2006. Merry Christmas from First Lutheran School. Our preschool - 1st graders did an excellent job telling the Christmas story On December 9 during our Saturday evening worship. As always, when younger children share the Christmas message its special. Monday, March 05, 2007. Staffing for new school year. Each year at this time a major topic of discussion centers around what our teaching staff will consist of for the next year. Which teachers are returning? Are any teachers changing classes? Already these questions have been coming in. Friday, May 11, 2007. Last evening Mrs. Kathy Munce of Beaverton Oregon informed me she has accepted our call to be the 4th grade teacher! Mark your calendar now. As you are aware, Mrs. O'Brien is retiring at the end of this school year. We will be having a apecial reception to honor her and say good bye on Sunday June 3 following the 10:30 worship service.
