To draft the sleeve as for Rossa shirt, except that I used a higher sleeve cap (see picture above - sleeve cap is 2/3 of AB; Rossa shirt sleeve had 1/2 AB) and I drew the sleeve closer to the bodice - this might be clearer from the picture below (this is the back). From an idea to a finished garment. Challenge 13: Pieve skirt: finished. OK, and now for the finished skirt. On the left is the inspiration from Boden. And on the right is the skirt I drafted. It looks pretty similar - I don't actually know how much the Boden. Skirt flares at the hem - they don't give those measurements - but it looks pretty close. And this is what it looks like on the form. I don't know if you can really tell, but it fits really well, slightly below the waist, to elongate the torso.

In the last two weeks I had some sick kids around so instead of drafting and sewing I was reading books and playing a lot of games. But finally, Faros is here. Second, I added 3 cm to the back yoke for the buttons. Initially I added only 1.5 cm from the center line, but of course, I forgot the part that actually folds below. Oh, and I added 10 in to the bottom back pattern piece - to match the length. Previous Challenge 7 posts:.

A blog about… about what? Last weaving for a while. Funny, this warp has been on the loom for months, waiting for inspiration. Now the loom has to be taken apart, to be moved, along with out other stuff. What? Oh, I haven’t mentioned this before? Well, yes we are moving to beautiful Boulder, CO. Vores dejlige tæve Flekka, som har fået hvalpe. Lækre brune Tolli som er far til hvalpene. Hvalpene - et lille kuld på to, men hvilke to! Vi er nu på vores anden islandske fårehund. Udtrykket er meget passende for vi har tabt vores hjerter til racen med dens kærlige, hengivende og intelligente væsen. Det mærkede vi specielt i den periode hvor vi var uden hund. Vi beholder en af Flekkas hvalpe. Man kan simpelthen ikke få for mange . Så blev siden om hvalpene endelig klar og der er kommet flere billeder.
