Is van oorsprong juriste en heeft 12 jaar als advocaat gewerkt aan de Amsterdamse Zuidas. Tijdens deze werkzaamheden won zij onder meer de Pleitwedstrijd van Amsterdam. In 2010 besloot zij haar hart te volgen, de advocatuur vaarwel te zeggen en als contactclown te gaan werken. Na een bezoek als clown aan SOS Kinderdorpen in Afrika, besloot zij voor kinderen in achterstandsituaties te gaan werken en trainingen te geven.
