I can't believe I am saying this but we got a call on Monday and learned that the orphanage finally has our daughter's passport which means we now have tentative travel dates. We are so close guys! Thursday, November 14, 2013. When we started on this adoption journey we had no idea where the money would come from. Well I take that back.it was clear that God called us and so it was clear that He would make a way but I had no idea how that would actually shake out. As of today we are 62% funded, which means we have raised almost $22,000. Seriously? We are over halfway there! Continued prayer for our daughter. Wednesday, July 2, 2014. We now have NOC! As of right now it looks very plausible that we will travel before the end of the year if not sooner. The biggest advantage about getting NOC is that we can now send a photo book to our daughter. I'm not sure if she has been told about us yet but now she will actually get to see pictures of her family. I was not expecting to receive NOC this quick so I need to get her photo book finished and sent to our agency. This is what the remainder of our process looks like:.

This is the first year we really began to talk about adopting from India. I researched organizations and at the time we did not meet the minimum age requirement (we were 5 years too young) so our plans were put on hold. God stirred up the burden of adoption again.
