Monday, May 27, 2013. To say we welcomed John's 3rd quarter century in with a BANG, is an understatement! After weeks of planning and stressing, it all worked out beautifully! It started out with a surprise game of laser tag! It was so fun how everyone TOTALLY got into it. We were crawling on the ground, getting all sorts of sweaty and the competition was ON! Thursday, June 28, 2012. John, because of his hard work on the job with Gordon Food Service, WON a trip to Denver, Colorado! John and I (sans kiddos) flew to Denver with 250 other GFS employees and guests and had a really great time! See what I mean! Between Mom/Dad and Sarah/Kerry, the boys were well cared for the four days/three nights we were away. We got the boys off to school on Thursday morning, 6/21, and then headed to the airport. The relaxing started about 32,000 feet up. Friday night, GFS.

Monday, March 19, 2012. Bella, Jen and Mike's daughter, strangely enough, was also scheduled to have tubes put in HER ears the same morning so we were able to socialize and have surgery all at the same time:-). When Adrey's surgery was over, I saw him coming down the hall (the nurse holding him) and I quickly scooped him up. The nurse said she's never seen a "baby" wake up from anesthesia so chipper and chatty! She said when he first woke up he said, "Is my mommy waiting for me? To watch him devour them.

Friday, March 29, 2013. March 3rd we headed to the SWAMP BUGGY races! I can't believe I've lived in Naples most of my life (certainly all of my childhood) and I had never been to the races until this year! They are SO MUCH FUN! To see the swamp buggies in action! Lesa came to visit us and we got to meet her beautiful baby boy. Ryder Lee! He is perfection. I was sick and couldn't hold him. talk about torture! The boys and I hit the clubhouse pool just to change things up a bit! Love my little peanuts!

Wednesday, April 24, 2013. The boys' school had Field Day yesterday followed by a family picnic. I took the day off from work to watch them! Field Day, for me growing up, was one of my favorite days of the whole year. hurdles (tire jumping) was my favorite event. And if memory serves me right, I believe I took home a couple blue ribbons! Apparently, Field Day in Pre-K, is not quite the same thing! Field Day consisted of. A ride around the parking lot in an old-fashioned fire truck. Such a wittle MUNCHKIN!

Tuesday, August 28, 2012. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. The boys started school on Monday the 20th! It is so hard to comprehend that the boys are 4 and 2. Time has flown by. Adrey was super nervous about going to school. I could tell by the questions he was asking and his demeanor. When we got to school he immediately grew quiet and wanted to be RIGHT by my side. not the norm for Adrey for sure! AND GUESS WHO'S GOT A BIG BOY BED? It's a big week for Charlie! Prior to going on our cruise.

Saturday, July 27, 2013. Well, we officially have a 5 year old and a 3 year old. Where does time go? I have heard the expression "Days go by slowly, but years go by quickly" and that couldn't be more true. It seems almost unbelievable they're so big! We left 2 and 4 with a BANG and had a pool/bounce party at our clubhouse! It was a SUCCESS! I was so proud at the party because Adrey was offering up the fins to his friends at the party so they could try them too. Made my heart so happy! A Year With Ella.
