Come and work in our café! | Fletch the perchcrow
https://fletchtheperchcrow.wordpress.com/2015/06/30/come-and-work-in-our-cafe
Shortlisted in the UK Blog Awards 2014. Come and work in our café! Join our friendly team. The café at Wordsworth House, where I live in the garden, is famous for its great scones and cakes and for its friendly service. Manager Kirsty tells me there’s a vacancy for a casual assistant to join the team for the rest of this season. If you’re a hard-working, people person with lots of common sense who enjoys baking, you could be the person to fill it. Go wild outdoors this summer. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Did you know that, on average, today’s 11-to-15 year olds spend half their waking lives that’s 7.5 hours a day in front of a screen? It’s no wonder that conditions like obesity, ADHD and diabetes are on the rise. Here at Wordsworth House and Garden we’re determined to do something about this, so we’re staging free screenings of Bond’s acclaimed film Project Wild Thing. Leave a Reply Cancel rep...

So we thought it was about time you met some of the volunteers who carry out this work! 8220; I find the property fascinating, even though I am not interested in the technical side of photography. I enjoy meeting the public, giving them a good experience and the camaraderie of the volunteers and staff. I’m constantly learning and sharing information! 8221; - Rosaleen.

The Hardmans' House: Our Winter Works
http://thehardmanshousent.blogspot.com/2015/03/our-winter-works.html
Thursday, 19 March 2015. As much as we love the Hardmans’, they did have a tendency of never throwing anything away. Although this means we have a gloriously detailed collection to be put on display, it also means that there are around 13,000 artefacts that must be checked and monitored each year – no matter how small they may be! To put this into perspective, Speke Hall. Just search under 59 Rodney Street to find out more! Over the past few weeks, we’ve been drawing the works to a close, ready to ...
