http://flight-deck.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html

From the Flight Deck. Friday, July 21, 2006. I received a request Monday to fly an Angel Flight mission to NY City on Tuesday. My passenger snapped a few pictures. Here is short final for 19 at Teterboro, (KTEB) (yeah well, this is called S-turns on final to allow the jet to get across the runway- yeah, that's it ;) ). Giants stadium in view on the departure off 24. I'm glad we'll be turning to the left soon. No interest in penetrating that kind of IMC. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

From the Flight Deck. Thursday, April 27, 2006. Here is a poster-child flight for the impact of the DC ADIZ/FRZ. One might call it a "Great circle route". The flight originated at Leesburg, VA and flew to Stevensville, MD. See DayJet post disclaimer below and then read this article:. 1) Leave Alaska alone! 2) What would be the economic effect of eliminating "willing seller(s)? See article referring to new FTC powers to prosecute retailers with "unlawfully" high gas prices. What is an "unlawful gas price?

From the Flight Deck: The Toledo Express

http://flight-deck.blogspot.com/2006/08/toledo-express.html

From the Flight Deck. Friday, August 18, 2006. The family was scheduled to drive out to MI for a family birthday with my in-laws. I really wanted to go, but I do have a lot of things going on and felt that it would be better from a work/life balance perspective to keep going, especially since some of the activities are of the away from home variety anyway. Was very uneventful with very little haze or clouds. We even had a slight tailwind. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). AOPA ASF Blog: Safety eJournal.

Monday, July 31, 2006. 95% complete. The 9th hole was 98% shale, of course, and I'm still chipping away at it slowly - about 2" to go overall. Luckily my neighbor provided some much needed shovel support, else I would have probably not gotten quite as far, to say the least. The whole without dirt. just "solid" shale/sandstone rock. Ting, chink, clang. still going. I need the energizer bunny to lossen some of it up. Footings inspection is tomorrow. ;). Posted by Bob @ 10:53 AM 0 comments. There will be 3 ...

Sunday, November 19, 2006. Meghan's All-star team, the Herndon Extreme, entered the All-Star soccer tournament yesterday and played 4 25-minute mini games, 7 on 7 including goalies. The five girls not on the field (they switch at the very brief half time stoppage play and switch goals) cheered on their teammates:. B-E-A-T, beat'em, B-U-S-T, bust'em.beat 'em, bust 'em that's our custom, come on girls let's readjust 'em! Posted by Bob @ 10:06 AM. Comments: Post a Comment. The Old Pineapple Inn, Melbourne FL.

http://hoyahenrys.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html

Sunday, May 07, 2006. Robby's Pack held its annual spring camp out at Lake Fairfax park last night. The weather was perfect. Clear, enough wind to keep the bugs down (but, the pollen up), and nice temperatures (High 76,low 49). 49 feels a lot colder in a tent. After playing some catch, it was time for dinner promptly at 5. At 7:30 we headed over to the park amphitheatre for the promotion ceremonies. By 8:30 we were well into roasting marshmallows. Posted by Bob @ 10:26 AM 0 comments. Kim Doug and Aden.

http://hoyahenrys.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, March 23, 2006. Well, we are now members of the Blue Ridge Flyers, a flying club based at KJYO. This also means we are the proud shareholders of N2871R, a 1967 Cessna 182. While we have just 6.6666666666667% ownership, it is a comfortable and stable airplane to fly. I've posted a couple of pictures I have from the Katrina Relief flights we conducted last fall. On the ground in Georgia. This a shot of the panel from the pilot perspective. Two items to note:. Posted by Bob @ 9:48 PM 0 comments.
