He will age out In 6 months! This is an emergency! I first wrote about Casey here. It was his smile that struck me the most when I visited with him in February! I really can not say much about myself and who I am without including them because they are so much a part of me! Our team took the metro every day to the hospital where we helped bathe, change diapers, and feed the children/ babies. Our team leader had encouraged us that it was OK to have special bonds with certain babies and boy did I! I came home forever changed....

We will be back in Denver at the Children's hospital for a follow up in a few weeks and he will likely be having at least one more surgery before the end of the year for feeding and GI issues. Waiting with Daddy to get his halo taken off. On his way back to surgery - feeling good with the help of some meds. A week in and starting to smile again. Not happy about having to sit up.
