Just another WordPress.com site. The Devil’s Millhopper. When it rains, water soaks into the ground and ends up flowing down the sides of this hole. Rivers form as it goes to the bottom, and then the water disappears into the ground. The process here has been occurring for a very long time. It was a looooong walk down. There were many things of beauty to behold, such as waterfalls and streams. With the board walk, people no longer trample the vegetation down, and this place offers a wonderful retreat.
