What do they look for and how they verbally communicate with the students to solve the problem. 1 Who/What you will be studying? Either a kindergarten or first grade teacher. How they have their observational skills to solve any issues in their classrooms, what worked what didn't. 2 Where will you collect your information? Interview a grade school teacher. On Thursday...

Florie: January 2014

Thursday, January 30, 2014. 1 Some of the language features or "moves" I noticed in the shaggy dog story. The language that was used in this story was and easy to understand. One term that I did not know the meaning of was "friar" but the meaning did not matter here because at the end of the story the word was used along with other terms (only Hugh can prevent florist friars) to sound like it is saying "ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT FLORIST FIRES". Listener must know about how panda bears act, they are lazy and d...

Florie: blog # 22

http://flories123.blogspot.com/2014/04/blog-22.html

Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Blog #22 - New Focus. So, the big question is how do we build a positive relationship with your students? The answer to this question is not an easy answer because each classroom is faced with different issues. I interviewed a third grade teacher in hopes to find how she built positive relationships with her students. The teacher has to teach them how to write in detail, and the basic structure of an essay. She saw that many students wrote about the video game called Mine Craft.

Florie: Blog # 20

http://flories123.blogspot.com/2014/04/blog-20.html

Monday, April 14, 2014. How a teacher uses observation to solve issues within a classroom, and how these strategies are beneficial for both the teacher and for the students. Teacher: Oh yea they love video games, they love it. I told them Mrs. Castillo plays mind craft, I just said it , I don’t play mind craft. Ha-ha I uh made myself learn because of them. J. Then I told them to write me a how to essay, like how to survive in the game. Flora: Yea I think so too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

ENG 3029 Section 01. Thursday, March 27, 2014. 327 Using a rubric to figure out what to work on for the short analysis project. Today in class we read through the remaining sample essays and used the rubric to get a feel both for how "good" the essays were, and for how we would work on strengthening that essay if it were ours. And - each time we assessed an essay = our scores had a smaller spread. Also AWESOME. As you write, I strongly suggest the following. 1 Do some more analytic writing. And so on&#46...
