My current rate is 14 per hour. Will you be doing any nursing care? Only to make sure regular prescribed medication has been taken and some minor treatments (e.g., applying cream to legs as a means of prevention from eczema or ulcers). Any heavy lifting and handling? Florrie's Befriending Service. A helping hand to make life easier. I am a qualified Staff Nurse caring for adults, families and children in a variety of roles over a period of more than 30 years. I have also been a nanny for families in London and Poole while taking a break from nursing. For the past three years I’ve been helping a more mature lady one afternoon most weeks, taking her shopping, to the bank and to a variety of appointments. References available on request.
