tigerfilly: Nappy Covers - striped $8 each, plain pink $6
https://tigerfilly.blogspot.com/2011/02/nappy-covers-striped-8-each-plain-pink.html
Sunday, February 20, 2011. Nappy Covers - striped $8 each, plain pink $6. These were each knit by me to fit my daughter's super chubby thighs. They are loose at the thighs and would probably gape on a thinner child, but worked really well for DD. They are all lovely and thick and soft and worked very well overnight. All pure thick wool. All 3 have a few marks on them which I can't get out. I have taken photos of the marks on the pink/blue/green stripe as it has the most marks. Here is a photo of.

tigerfilly: Party time
https://tigerfilly.blogspot.com/2010/07/party-time.html
Sunday, July 25, 2010. Last weekend we decided to kill two birds with one stone and have Tigerboy's 8th birthday party and Snugglebunny's 4th birthday party all in one day. Hers was in the morning and his was at 3pm. Glamourpuss and I spent the week cooking up a storm and making things like little Gingerbread men to give as party favours. I borrowed a big parachute from the toy. Library for the kids to play with, and both 4. Year olds and 8 year olds had lots of fun with it. The rowdy 8 year olds in the ...

tigerfilly: A Wooly Obsession
https://tigerfilly.blogspot.com/2007/04/wooly-obsession.html
Tuesday, April 24, 2007. It must be the marginally cooler weather, but I am suddenly obsessed with knitting pants for Snugglebunny. These nearly didn't eventuate since I got halfway through the SECOND leg and realised I had divided the stitches wrongly for the legs, so I had to pull it all back as far as the crotch! The pink is the most stunning soft yarn - 10 ply, 70% merino 30% mohair. The brown yarn is country silk and once again I added a gusset to fit her Chunky thighs :). You are one talented mumma!

tigerfilly: January 2010
https://tigerfilly.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 31, 2010. I've had this fabric for yonks, so long I can't even remember where or when I bought it,. But I think it was about 8 years ago. I still really like the colour combinations but somehow it also has a bit of an outdated feel to it. I'm not quite sure if it is outdated enough to be retro-cool or just old, but I still think they are quite cute. I also picked up a beautiful velveteen Osh Kosh jacket in the exact same red at an op shop on Friday - bargain! Sunday, January 24, 2010.

tigerfilly: April 2009
https://tigerfilly.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 27, 2009. I'm probably kidding myself, but I think Snugglebunny's new sweatshirt looks a little like one of the surf brands. I was having trouble finding ribbing for the cuffs and band, so I ended up buying some stretch velvet. It is sparkling in the photos with the flash, but it doesn't really sparkle in normal light, it just has a slight sheen to it that helps it match the marle of the pink part. Sunday, April 19, 2009. What is the one thing guaranteed to inspire a bit of knitting?

tigerfilly: I hate hats
https://tigerfilly.blogspot.com/2010/02/i-hate-hats.html
Wednesday, February 10, 2010. I really do hate making hats, yet for some reason I keep making them. As you can see this hat is made from the leftovers of the dress from a couple of posts back. The dress is a vintage pattern, an anomaly in vintage patterns in fact because they usually run small, but I made this 2 years ago and it was massively too big. I finished it off a few weeks ago by finally adding the straps and it is just right. Otherwise I am quite delighted with it. That hat is fabulous. I wo...

tigerfilly: February 2010
https://tigerfilly.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 28, 2010. Cheap, cheap, cheap. The $2 dress -. Made out of a dress I bought from a recycled clothing shop, which was actually brand new with tags,. But had a ripped seam. It is Ottobre 3/2008, #12, with the back changed into a yoked style, so as to let me take advantage of the skirt part of the original dress being already hemmed and attach it in one piece. A little striped top I made a few weeks ago out of leftovers from the surf-top of a year ago. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. The stra...
