Earlier in the year I did some work for Lucid games on the first episode of Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery. If you've got an iPhone or an iPad, you should check it out. It's a puzzle game and it's loads of fun. Here's some screenshots - get ready for some bonce-scratchers, and keep your eyes peeled for the next episode! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Illustration, Drawings and Mucking about. Tuesday, 11 February 2014. 10 Bands 10 Minutes: A Michael Jackson Tribute. Ten Bands XII was the most Bad, Dangerous, Invincible Thriller yet - fastest ever sell out show at the Kazimier, and a boss way to start the year. I did a couple of posters for this one: one massive black and white one to go outside the venue, and an A3 colour print for the bands to take home. Can you feel it? Can you feel it? CAN YOU FEEL IT? Illustration, Drawings and Mucking about. Tuesday, 5 February 2013. 10 Bands 10 Minutes: Believe the Rumours! Wow I'm still processing how great this gig was. 10 Bands Fleetwood Mac was a total barnstormer, surpassing every one we've done so far. Married to the Sea: Die Gruselige Tour. Last Halloween, Married to the Sea decided to return to Germany for the first time in two long years - and like a tsunami of virgins blood, we engulfed the Fatherland with our terrifying brand of indie pop once more.

COLOURS OR CHORDS?: March 2013
http://simon-turner.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Illustration, Drawings and Mucking about. Wednesday, 20 March 2013. Found Footage Fest UK Tour. One of the best comedy shows I saw last year was the Found Footage Festival at the Kazimier - there might have been about 15 people in the audience, but I've never seen anyone lose their shit to the extent that I did at that show. This is probably the closest I've ever come to typing 'major lols' so that should be some indication of the ho ho factor. Trailer and their website. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

COLOURS OR CHORDS?: Ten Bands Ten Minutes 10 - A David Bowie tribute

Illustration, Drawings and Mucking about. Wednesday, 24 July 2013. Ten Bands Ten Minutes 10 - A David Bowie tribute. Last month was the tenth 10 Bands 10 Minutes gig at the Kazimier, and it was yet another smasher - the last few have provided the best nights out I've had in ages, and the bands keep cranking out boss sets. One question: how to top this one? I've got my heart set on a nu-metal halloween apocalypse - you can file that under 'so crazy it just might work' *). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Illustration, Drawings and Mucking about. Wednesday, 1 February 2012. The Amazing World o' Stuff #2 - Gig poster. Update: I'll be playing with Elle S'appelle at the aforementioned Used Vinyl Club with The Loose Moose String Band in March - only went and did the poster for that too, didn't I? The Amazing World o' Stuff. My keyboard playing is up for debate but the night is going to be undeniably boss, and the album is totally killer. Here's a link. Illustration, Drawings and Mucking about. Monday, 18 June 2012. OAB Olivia continued: Comic strips. Initially it was intended that we would develop the Olivia character for a number of comic strips, and that these would subsequently be used as storyboards for an short animated film. Unfortunately the project got pulled before we could begin any animation but I was still able to put together a few of the comic strips in preparation. Friday, 15 June 2012.
