~ Chronicles of a Culinary Princess~: May 2008
http://culinaryprincess.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, 1 May 2008. It's been a year! Like a drug addict seeking for more magic mushrooms and trying out different little pills to get high I have been frantically searching for my pills. No, I’m not a drug seeker nor a drug pusher but I’m just a food blogger caught up in the blogsphere. A year ago, while desperately trying to download more food pictures onto my laptop, a sign. I would have ended up in some sort of mental institution otherwise with all my exams and stress I went through last year.

Monday, 27 August 2007. After being in Broken Hill for the past week, I’ve been impressed by the indomitable spirit of the wonderful city. The vibrant earthy colours and magical light of the landscape have drawn many film makers and artists here. BH is the longest continuous mining operation in. And the largest single source of lead, silver and zinc ore. Sandeep came down to Broken Hill to visit Khobe and me. It so happens that his birthday is on the 10. Of August. Just 3 days before mine. 3 Stir flours ...

Monday, 28 January 2008. A new year, a new beginning. I bet my absence was missed dearly by everyone *cheeky grin*. I’m currently back home in Penang. A lot has happened since I last wrote. A lot of obstacles were thrown my way but with HIS grace and with constant support from my family and close friends everything seems to be going smoothly now. The good news is, I got through my finals! WOHOOAfter all the hard work, 1000s of cumulative calories and a few mental blocks along the way, I made it: D. We de...

http://culinaryprincess.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Friday, 1 March 2013. After a tiring week at work, we didn't feel like cooking and decided to head out for a meal. As the fringe is currently on in the city, we decided to have dinner close by to avoid the city traffic. We heard about De Sate few months ago, when my parents were visiting from Malaysia and they walked past it one evening during their evening stroll. It is quite easily missed when you drive on busy Magill road otherwise. We ordered chicken satay, nasi goreng and sup kambing ( lamb soup).
