Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Sent our Christmas cards in. I loved how our cards turned out and I loved the box. It made this project so much easier since the box was already cute. I had to help him figure out how to construct the stage but he did those little puppets all on his own. He and I had a lot of fun making it together. He sure loves being creative. He kept saying, "Gracie is going to love this." He was so excited about it. It was the first of many successful Christmas gifts. Links to this post.

Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Back to school feast 2014. Since we had just had so much fun at the river on a homeschool field trip I decided to have our back to school lunch there. I packed a picnic lunch and set it all up by the salt river. We ate but then quickly cleaned up and relocated to another part of the river, where there weren't obnoxious drunk people. We talked about how when storms come along prayer helps us steer our ship. And there was chocolate milk so the kids thought it was awesome.

Friday, June 20, 2014. He slept through the night and woke up the next morning with a normal temperature and feeling fine. Friday, February 28, 2014. Jennie and Jacie were able to come over to my house with all of their kids one day. Then we went to the park. The kids had a blast. Sunday, March 1, 2015. That led to me learning what autism was and me being his and his brothers babysitter. And eventually that led to me becoming a hab and respite worker for people with special needs when I turned 18. I lost contact with Sam and his family after I went to high school but one day on instagram someone posted that Sam would be at the Gilbert farmers market selling his art work. And he remembered me! I was touched and so happy to see him and Renata (his mother) again.
